As a health and wellness chef, I’m passionate about empowering others to eat functional, nutritious, and tasty food that supports an optimal mind, body, and soul.
When I think of preparing food, I view it as an opportunity to embark on an adventure. And adventures don’t have be complex or daunting. In fact, some of life’s most enriching adventures are found in the simple and wholesome moments.
And that’s how I approach food — with simplicity, intuition, and joy.
I know, there’s a lot of “best practice” health info out there, and it can become overwhelming.
The way I see it, whole food, movement, and overall wellness can be simple.
And I’ve found that complexity leads to complacency.
When you feel overwhelmed, inundated with too much information, and confused, chances are you’ll become defeated, paralyzed, and unable to feel confident in making a move toward betterment.
So you may maintain the same unhealthy patterns until they become habit, forgetting how it feels to wake energized, move with ease, and look in the mirror and see a reflection of strength, self-love, and gratitude.
Whether I prepare dishes for your next retreat/event, or you try the recipes on my site — my hope is that I help take the guesswork out of preparing nutritious meals, all the while encouraging you to adventure in the kitchen.
